Leaping Arches / light poles

100_0407I’ve added a page on how we built the poles we will be using for arches in the 2009 display – How the arches were constructed (This same process could be used to create light poles)

Light Controllers

100_0247

I’m in the process of assembling new light controller kits for 2009 – a total of 4 additional controllers!  Each controller has 16 channels – it can turn up to 16 different things on and off. (Each window, the branches in the trees, the bushes… has its own channel assigned to it.)

We’ll have 6 controllers for 2009 – a total of 96 channels.

Note – Light-o-Rama also sells kits that are completely assembled :)

New lights for 2009

IMGP0786_web

New lights for 2009 – ~40,000 new lights…  There are Pre-made trees and candy canes, colored lights for the windows, colored icicles, and a bunch of clear lights for “Mini-Trees” and “Arches.”

I picked up everything last year after Christmas while it was on clearance! (It cost less the $150 for all the lights in the picture!)

More details to come!
